So the tip in this post is Give away images.

Giving away images may increase the traffic to your stock portfolio.

Some stocks, like Vectorstock or Fotolia, let you decide if you want to have free images, so everybody can easily download them for free.

And of course loads of people ‘hang out’ in the free vectors page, so if they like yours they would definitely visit your portfolio to have a look at some more illustrations of the same style/concept/etc.

That is why don’t just give away the worst or simpliest of your images. I suggest you to choose the newest and most popular or potentially popular image in your portfolio, so it attracts customers.
